This is a beautiful group of 1934 Korean Christmas Seals related items. These seals were created for the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Methodism in Korea 1884-1934. This block of 10 is in very fine condition - the perforations all seem to be intact. There are traces of old hinges, but you can see this in the photos. The booklet, The Mother of Pyong Yang is about the life of Rosetta Sherwood Hall. It tells of her work with the sick and disabled and blind, and includes photos of her, her first patient, some of the gifts she was given by the government, as well as photos of Sherwood Hall and Marion Hall. I think this may be a somewhat rare item. Please ask questions. Please note - I am not a knowledgeable stamp person. These all came from my grandfather's collection. He was a well respected stamp and Christmas Seals collector. There is correspondence between him and Rosetta Sherwood Hall, who was a medical missionary in Korea for 44 years, and was very involved with the Christmas Seals and working for the handicapped and blind. I will continue to be putting more on eBay when I can, including several things related to, and signed by Rosetta Sherwood Hall. I don't know much about these.
